Holt is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. As of the 2000 census, the population of the community is 4,103.

Holt is located at 33°13'50" North, 87°29'11" West (33.230467, -87.486303)Template:GR.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the community has a total area of 8.4 km² (3.2 mi²). 8.4 km² (3.2 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 4,103 people, 1,614 households, and 1,081 families residing in the community. The population density is 488.9/km² (1,268.0/mi²). There are 1,835 housing units at an average density of 218.7/km² (567.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the community is 51.67% White, 47.04% Black or African American, 0.44% Native American, 0.02% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.12% from other races, and 0.71% from two or more races. 1.49% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
