Highgrove is the country home of HRH The Prince of Wales, in Gloucestershire. It was purchased by the Duchy of Cornwall for his use in 1980, and had previously been owned by Maurice Macmillan.
It was originally built about 1800 and was rebuilt a century later. It has six main bedrooms and 350 acres (1.4 km²) of farmland attached. The Prince has developed a notable garden around the house, and a book has been published about it. He has also turned the farm into an organic farm.
