Station Structure
The station has an island-type platform with two tracks. The station buildings are built above the platforms.
Surrounding Area
The residential area is growing. The Aurora Mall, in front of the train station, houses Daiei and Seibu. Forced to compete with the well established shopping district arounf Yokohama Station, sales have, seemingly, shown little growth and rumors suggest that there is talk that Seibu may close shop in Higashi-Totsuka.
