Hey Dude was a television program that was transmitted in the United States from 1989 to 1991. The show was aired on the Nickelodeon channel with reruns going as far as 1998.
The series was set on the fictional Bar None Dude Ranch in Tucson, Arizona. It portrayed the lives of the ranch owner, his son, and five teenaged employees. Hey Dude was a comedy geared towards a teen-aged audience, and one of its main characters, Ted, often drew fan comparisons to the Zack Morris character from Saved by the Bell, another successful television sitcom of the era. The characters Brad (a girl) and Melody had romantic interest in Ted.
