Heuvelland

Heuvelland is a municipality located in the Belgian province of West Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Dranouter, Kemmel, Klijte, Loker, Nieuwkerke, Westouter, Wijtschate and Wulveringem. On January 1st, 2004 Heuvelland had a total population of 8,292 (4,237 males and 4,055 females). The total area is 94.24 km² which gives a population density of 87.99 inhabitants per km².
The word heuvelland is Dutch for hilly country.
