Hernán Padilla (born 1938) was the chairman for the US Council for Puerto Rico Statehood (USCPRS) and is a founding member of the Partido Renovación Puertorriqueño (Puerto Rican Renewal Party).
Padilla was mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico between 1977 and 1984. In 1985, Padilla was the President of the U.S. Conference of Mayors. He previously worked as a nephrologist at the National Capital Area for Kaiser Permanente.
Padilla was born in Mayagüez and now lives in Miramar, Florida.
