Heathrow is a census-designated place and anarea located in Seminole County, Florida. Its historic center is now in the City of Lake Mary. Data in this article deals only with the unincorporated part. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 4,068.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 8.6 km² (3.3 mi²). 7.2 km² (2.8 mi²) of it is land and 1.4 km² (0.5 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 16.01% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 4,068 people, 1,770 households, and 1,258 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 567.0/km² (1,466.6/mi²). There are 1,961 housing units at an average density of 273.3/km² (707.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 89.33% White, 3.69% African American, 0.12% Native American, 4.70% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.98% from other races, and 1.18% from two or more races. 6.12% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,770 households out of which 25.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.9% are married couples living together, 4.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 28.9% are non-families. 23.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.30 and the average family size is 2.72.
In the CDP the population is spread out with 19.9% under the age of 18, 3.7% from 18 to 24, 32.5% from 25 to 44, 31.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.1% who are 65 years of age or older.
