Hansraj Morarji Public School

Hansraj Morarji Public School is a combined primary, junior and senior school in Mumbai, India. It was founded in 1939 by the Bai Kabibai and Hansraj Morarji Trust. The foundation stone was laid by the then-Deputy Prime Minister, Sardar Patel.

Campus
The school campus of around 50 acres is located at the foot of Gilbert Hill, near Juhu Beach. Apart from the main school buildings, it includes 2 hostels, a dispensary, a music room, staff quarters, a library, and a science laboratory.
Affiliation
The school prepares students for Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCs) held by the Mumbai Divisional Board of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. Both Gujarati language streams and English language streams are available.
Diamond Jubilee
After sixty years of service, preparation for celebrating the Diamond Jubilee year in a fitting manner commenced in January 1999. The trustees of the School managing committee held meetings with past students, associations of parents and teachers and School staff to elicit views on the celebrations and to make concrete plans.
