The HP-6S is a metal-cased pocket calculator with rubber keys. Poor keyboard input due to spongy rubber keys. Position of 2nd function key ("inv") not placed well; should be in upper left corner (as with general consensus of models) and sized larger due to its frequent use! Hence, a swap with the "mode" button might be an improvement. This ergonomic blunder is surprising considering HP's history with these devices. Had nice feature and function set. The calculator was fairly durable, but touch keyboarding is not really possible with this particular rubber keyboard. Not really on par with a similiar featured and sized Casio FX-250 / 260. But it is very small and compact and would travel well. Cost was usually around/under $10.
