Gustin Township is a township located in Alcona County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 832.
The Village of Lincoln is situated on the boundary between Gustin and Hawes Township and is approximately evenly divided between them.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 92.8 km² (35.8 mi²). 92.4 km² (35.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.42% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 832 people, 358 households, and 239 families residing in the township. The population density is 9.0/km² (23.3/mi²). There are 483 housing units at an average density of 5.2/km² (13.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 98.44% White, 0.00% African American, 0.60% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.96% from two or more races. 0.24% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
