Gretchen Mol (born November 8, 1972 in Deep River, Connecticut, USA) is an American actress.
She attended the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and graduated from the William Esper Studio. She was noticed by an talent agent who spotted her at a restaurant working as a hat check girl and got her her first acting job in a Coca-Cola commercial. Her mother is an artist and her father is a school principal. Her brother, Jim Mol, also works in the same industry.
