Green Valley is a census-designated place located in Pennington County, South Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 768.

Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 768 people, 314 households, and 211 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 79.9/km² (206.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 95.57% White, 0.00% African American, 2.73% Native American, 0.13% Asian, 0.13% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.43% from two or more races. 2.08% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
