Template:GBdot Grays is the largest town in the borough of Thurrock to the east of London. 'London Road' is the main road which links Grays town centre with Lakeside and Purfleet. Local sites of interest include the Thameside Theatre and the Thurrock History Museum. The ancient local manor of Grays Thurrock was the seat of the noble house of Grey, whose most senior titled branch was headed from the early 13th century by the Baron Grey of Codnor.
Grays has recently changed the flow of traffic from a one-way system to two way, which has resulted in many traffic problems. The local Thurrock Council has been criticised for the mess they have caused
