The B-52's Chronology | ||
Cosmic Thing (1989) | Good Stuff (1992) | — |
Good Stuff is the sixth studio album by new wave band The B-52's, released in 1992. (see 1992 in music).
While still one of their better releases, the album was considered by many to be a bit uneven compared to its predecessor, Cosmic Thing. This may have been due to the temporary departure of vocalist Cindy Wilson.
A moderate radio hit was achieved with the track "Good Stuff", which was a cleverly disguised and vaguely explicit ode to a woman's sexual fluids. With lyrics like "gonna wallow in your lovin' hollow" and "take me down where the love honey flows," some radio stations refused to play the track. A music video accompanied the track featuring the band dancing under vagina-shaped pipe openings from which sudsy soap foam poured out onto them.
