Good Singin', Good Playin'
|
Good Singin', Good Playin' was the last album by Grand Funk Railroad, at least during the 1970s. The band had actually broken up, but since Frank Zappa showed interest in producing an album for them, they managed to assemble for one more attempt to regain chart positions, which had become elusive during the last years. Recorded in 1976 for MCA, this album showed freshness and sheer dynamics, including a guest performance of Zappa himself; in spite of all these the album wasn't a commercial success, and soon after the band folded.
