Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG

Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG (japanese title: Koukaku Kidoutai: S.A.C. 2nd GIG 攻殻機動隊 S.A.C. 2nd GIG) is the second season from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. 2nd GIG has already been licensed to air on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim in fall 2005.

Episodes

Unlike the first season, the second season had three types of episodes denoting the type of episode. Each episode has two names, a proper title and a subtitle. The DI/IN/DU nomenclature denotes DI=Dividual, IN=Individual, and DU=Dual (episodes designated DI are stand alone episodes not strongly tied with the other storylines, while those designated IN are tied in with the Particular Eleven storyline, and those designated with DU are tied with the Cabinet Intellegence Agency & Gouda storyline):

REEMBODY
Episode 1 - DI: Restart -- REEMBODY: A group of terrorists identifying themselves as the "Particular Eleven" barricade themselves within the Chinese Embassy. Section 9 is called in to eliminate the terrorists without allowing any casualties, all before the scheduled police raid.

NIGHT CRUISE



Episode 2 - DI: The Satiated Me -- NIGHT CRUISE: Follow along the life of a refugee living in Japan. While he is angry and depressed, he has greater plans of revenge in the works.

Episode 3 - DI: Saturday Night and Sunday Morning -- CASH EYE: A hacker and thief by the name of Cash Eye plans on infiltrating a vault during a party, and Section 9 is called in to prevent it... or were they?

Episode 6 - DI: Latent Heat Source -- EXCAVATION: Togusa is sent to Tokyo to investigate a lead on who threatened the Department of Energy. While in Tokyo, he discovers a secret the GSDF is trying to keep hidden deep underground.

Episode 7 - DU: Rhapsody - the Melody of a Bygone Nation -- Pu239: Plans have been leaked to terrorists that plutonium was to be shipped. Section 9 is called in to ensure the plutonium reaches it's destination.
