George Pardee

George Cooper Pardee (July 25, 1857–September 1, 1941) was a medical doctor and Governor of California from January 6, 1903 until January 8, 1907. Appointed John Morton Eshleman deputy labor commissioner.
Pardee was a major donor to the University of Southern California, where a dormitory and a street are named for him.
