Fremont Township is a township located in Sanilac County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the township had a total population of 913.
Geography
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 90.7 km² (35.0 mi²). 90.7 km² (35.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.09% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 913 people, 313 households, and 256 families residing in the township. The population density is 10.1/km² (26.1/mi²). There are 352 housing units at an average density of 3.9/km² (10.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 97.59% White, 0.44% African American, 1.10% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.22% from other races, and 0.66% from two or more races. 0.55% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
