Freeman is a city located in Hutchinson County, South Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 1,317.
Geography
Freeman is located at 43°21'8" North, 97°26'3" West (43.352133, -97.434110)Template:GR.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²). 2.8 km² (1.1 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
