Fort Riley North is the United States Census Bureau's designation for a part of Fort Riley, a US Army installation located in Kansas. The area is more commonly known as "Custer Hill". As of the 2000 census, the area had a total population of 8,114.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 13.3 km² (5.1 mi²). 13.2 km² (5.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.20% is water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 8,114 people, 1,305 households, and 1,277 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 613.1/km² (1,586.7/mi²). There are 1,335 housing units at an average density of 100.9/km² (261.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 59.96% White, 24.59% African American, 1.23% Native American, 2.10% Asian, 0.58% Pacific Islander, 6.33% from other races, and 5.21% from two or more races. 12.97% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 1,305 households out of which 84.9% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 89.0% are married couples living together, 7.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 2.1% are non-families. 1.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 0.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 3.79 and the average family size is 3.82.
