- 1968-69 - Founder members of Gloucestershire County League
- 1975-76 - Joined Hellenic League Premier Division
- 1981-82 - Hellenic League Champions. F.A. Vase Winners; promoted to Southern League Midland Division
- 1989 - Changed name to Stroud
- 1992 - Changed name back to Forest Green Rovers
- 1995-96 - Switched to Southern Division
- 1996-97 - Southern League Southern Division Champions; promoted to Premier Division
- 1997-98 - Southern League Champions; promoted to Conference
- 1998-99 - F.A. Trophy runner-up
- 2000-01 - F.A. Trophy runner-up
- Best league position: 9th in Conference (level 5), 2002-03
- Best FA Cup performance: 2nd round, 1999-00
- Best FA Trophy performance: finalists, 1998-99 and 2000-01.
- Best FA Vase performance: winners, 1981-82.
- Best Football League Trophy performance: 1st round, 2003-04
