Final Fantasy Legend is a Game Boy video game. As the first game in the SaGa series, it was released in 1989 by Square, and released only in Japan for the Wonderswan Color.
Story
Gameplay
The game uses a simple turn-based battle system.
Character classes
Human (Male, Female)
These characters gain strength by using items. They cannot use magic without a nameless accessory commonly called the "shoe" bearing a shoe icon.
Mutant (Male, Female)
These characters gain strength by fighting. They can use magic.
Monster (many different types)
These characters gain strength by eating the meat of defeated monsters. However, they can also regress into weaker monster types if they eat the meat of weaker monsters.
