According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 4.0 km² (1.5 mi²). 4.0 km² (1.5 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 506 people, 242 households, and 168 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 127.7/km² (331.1/mi²). There are 546 housing units at an average density of 137.8/km² (357.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 91.50% White, 0.40% African American, 0.40% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 5.93% from other races, and 1.58% from two or more races. 30.63% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 242 households out of which 13.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.3% are married couples living together, 3.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 30.2% are non-families. 28.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 22.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.09 and the average family size is 2.51.
