Elephant is the fourth album by American rock band The White Stripes, released in 2003 (see 2003 in music).
The album debuted at #1 in the UK and and reached #6 on the Billboard Album Charts in the US, while it received very enthusiastic reviews and won Grammys for best alternative album and best rock song ("Seven Nation Army"). Its other famous songs include "The Hardest Button To Button" and their cover of Bacharach & David's "I Just Don't Know What To Do With Myself".

- Featuring the voice of Mort Crim, Detroit newscaster, saying the beginning dialogue; The song was written about the dialogue, although Jack did not seek out the recording of Mort Crim, it was brought to him by his brother.
