Electoral Bloc Yuliya Tymoshenko

Template:Politics of Ukraine The Yuliya Tymoshenko Electoral Bloc (Ukrainian: Виборций Блок Юлії Тимошенко, Vybortsyi Blok Yuliyi Tymoshenko) is a coalition of liberal and nationalist political parties in Ukraine. At the last legislative elections, 30 march 2002, the party won 7.2 % of the popular vote and 21 out of 450 seats. The alliance had the following members:
- Ukrainian People's Party Assembly (Ukrajins’ka Narodna Partija Sobor)
- Ukrainian Republican Party (Ukrajinska Respublikanska Partija)
- Ukrainian Social Democratic Party (Ukrajins’ka Social-Demokratyčna Partija)
- All-Ukrainian United Patriots (Vseukrajins’ke Ob’ednannja Bat’kivščyna)
The alliance supported Viktor Yushchenko during the Ukrainian presidential election of 2004, and played an active role in the widespread acts of civil disobedience that became known as the Ukrainian "Orange Revolution". The alliance is lead by charismatic Yuliya Tymoshenko, currently prime minister of Ukraine.
