Eldest is the title of the upcoming second book in the Inheritance trilogy written by Christopher Paolini.
The story will follow the continued adventures of Eragon and his dragon Saphira, and is presumed that it will center around their journey to the realm of the Elves.

Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, have just saved the rebel state from destruction by the mighty forces of King Galbatorix, cruel ruler of the Empire.
