Elías Figueroa (born October 25, 1946 in Valparaíso) is a former football (soccer) player from Chile. He was considered the best player in The Americas in 1974, 1975, 1976 and Chile.
His nickname is "Don Elias" (Sir Elias). Figueroa played for Chile in the 1966, 1974, and 1982 World Cups. He played in several teams, including Unión La Calera, Santiago Wanderers, Palestino and Colo-Colo of Chile, Peñarol in Uruguay, Internacional in Brazil and the Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the NASL. In 2004 he was chosen by FIFA as one of the world's 125 best living soccer players.
