Egg has multiple meanings:
- The term is used synonymously with ovum, the female sex cell in animals and plants. These are a part of the female reproductive cycle.
- The term is also used for the ovum of animals together with its various protective layers and nutrients for the developing embryo. See egg (biology).
- Some eggs are edible and can be used as food, either on their own or in a recipe.
- Decorated eggs can be part of a tradition or religious celebration with Easter eggs being an example
- Egg is a city in Switzerland
- Egg was a short-lived 1960s English acid rock band, also know as Arzachel].
- Eggs is a 1995 movie by the Norwegian film director Bent Hamer
- An egg is a pejorative term for a White person who "acts Asian".
