The title Earl Haig was created in the Peerage of the United Kingdom in 1919 for Field Marshal Sir Douglas Haig. The subsidiary titles held by Lord Haig are Viscount Dawick and Baron Haig of Bemersyde, of Bemersyde in the County of Berwick, which were both created at the same time as the Earldom. Lord Haig is also the 30th Laird of Bemersyde.
