Dwight Yorke (born November 3, 1971 in Canaan, Tobago) is a Trinidad and Tobago football player. He has joined Sydney FC in the Australian A-League; he previously played for Aston Villa, Manchester United, Blackburn Rovers, and Birmingham City.
Yorke was capped 55 times for the Trinidad and Tobago national team, scoring 23 goals. He briefly retired from international football before coming back for the 2006 World Cup qualifying campaign.
From 1989 to 1998, Dwight played for Aston Villa. He was a right winger until the 1995-96 season, when he switched to centre forward and quickly established himself as one of the Premiership's top strikers. In August 1998, he was transferred to Manchester United for £12.6 million.
In his first three seasons, Yorke was a key player in guiding his club to three successive Premiership titles including a unique treble of the Premiership title, F.A. Cup and Champions League.
In 2001-02, Yorke lost his place in the line-up following the arrival of Ruud van Nistelrooy. The following summer he was sold to Blackburn Rovers for £2 million, spending two years at the club before joining Birmingham City in 2004 on a free transfer. He saw little action during the first part of the 2004-05 season, and made no appearances after January 2005. Yorke was eventually released from his contract, and he signed with Sydney on 17 April, opting to continue his career in Australia for less money than in some other leagues, notably those in the Middle East.
He was once in a much publicised relationship with British supermodel Jordan, and has a child with her called Harvey. They famously made home videos of their sexual antics which were brought to the attention of the media.sr:Двајт Јорк
