Dunkin' Donuts
Dunkin' Donuts is an international doughnut purveyor founded in 1950 in Quincy, Massachusetts by William Rosenberg. It claims to be the "world's largest coffee and baked goods chain" with 2 million customers per day served at 5500 stores globally. Most of its stores are franchises.
In the US, it is often paired with Togo's sandwich shops and Baskin-Robbins ice cream shops. Baskin-Robbins, Togo's, and Dunkin' Donuts together form Allied Domecq Quick Service Restaurants, part of Allied Domecq. Most of their competive business comes from small locally owned stores, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and Southern Maid.
