Template:Titlelacksdiacritics Drăgăşani is a town in the Vālcea county, Romania, near the right bank of the Olt river, and on the railway between Caracal and Rāmnicu Vālcea.
The town is of little commercial importance, but the vineyards on the neighboring hills produce some of the best Wallachian wines.
History
Drăgăşani stands on the site of the Daco-Roman "Rusidava". In 1821 the Turks routed the troops of Alexander Ypsilanti near the town.
