The Dominion of Melchizedek (sometimes spelled Melchizedech or Melchizedec) is a fictional island nation in the Pacific Ocean. It was invented by convicted father-and-son con artists David and Mark Pedley circa 1990 as an instrument for their scams.
There is a web site for the country purporting it to be real. However, it has been exposed as a ruse by various media organizations, such as Forbes magazine and The Washington Post. Over 300 would-be investors have lost money in this scam.
