The Dilleniales are an order of dicotyledons, comprising the elephant apple family, Dilleniaceae. Under the Cronquist system they also included the peony (Latin Paeonia) is a separate family, and served as the prototype for the subclass Dilleniidae, which is abandoned in newer schemes.fr:Dilleniales
