Richard "Dick" Gautier (born October 30, 1931 in Los Angeles, California, USA) is an actor, comedian, composer, singer and author, best known for his portrayal of Hymie the Robot in the television series Get Smart. He also starred as Robin Hood in the short-lived TV comedy series "When Things Were Rotten", a Mel Brooks send-up of the classic legend, as well as over 800 other television programs, including Matlock, Columbo, Murder, She Wrote.
Gautier also voiced Rodimus Prime in the third season of the Transformers animated series from 1986-1987, and was a narrator for Discovery Channel's Search For Adventure; he is also known for his caricatures of celebrities.
Gautier started his career as a night-club comic and a singer for dance orchestras; he joined ASCAP in 1959 after serving in the US Navy. He used to be married to actress Barbara Stuart.
