His last Epitaph Records album with The Offspring was Smash (1994). Then later on, he signed with Columbia Records in and released Ixnay On The Hombre (1997), Americana (1998) and Conspiracy Of One (2000).
Their album, Splinter was released on December 9th 2003. In March of 2003, Dexter jokingly announced that it would be called Chinese Democracy, to spite Axl Rose of Guns n' Roses, whose highly anticipated album of the same name was constantly "in limbo". Dexter said "AXL [ROSE] ripped-off my braids, so I ripped-off his album title."
Dexter is currently preparing for the June 21, 2005 release of The Offspring's Greatest Hits album, and the July 19, 2005 release of the DVD video collection. The band will also be on the summer Warped Tour from June to September 2005.de:Dexter Holland
