Derry (Stephen King)

Derry, Maine is a fictional town used by Stephen King as the setting for a number of his novels, novellas, and short stories. It first appeared in the novel It. Insomnia added a lot more detail on Derry and a little more came to light in Bag of Bones. Derry is situated near Bangor, Maine in the fictional world, but King has acknowledged that Derry is actually his portrayal of Bangor.
