Dent Blanche is a mountain in the Swiss Alps, west of Zermatt and north of the Matterhorn.
The mountain was first climbed on July 18, 1862 by T. Kennedy, W. Wigram, J. Croz and J. Konig via the south ridge (Wandfluegrat). The first winter ascent by the north ridge was completed by P. Crettaz and J. Gaudin on March 2, 1963.
This mountain should not be confused with Dents Blanches (2,728m) located on the France-Switzerland border.
