Deep River facts

  • "Final Distance" is a reworking of the song "Distance" from Utada Hikaru's album of the same name. The song was created in memory of a fan who was murdered in school by a mentally ill man.
  • "Simple and Clean", the theme song of the Playstation 2 game "Kingdom Hearts", was inspired by "Hikari".
  • The chorus melody of "Uso Mitai na I Love You" was reused, so to speak, from "Hikari", since the words of "Simple and Clean" didn't flow very well with the original melody.
