Dead Letter Office is a 1987 album by R.E.M.. It is a collection of b-sides and rarities. A majority of the tracks are outtakes from previous albums. The record notes describe which songs were to have appeared on which previous album. Tracks 16-20 (found only on the CD) are a re-release of their 1982 EP, Chronic Town.
