David Lepper

David Lepper (born 15 September 1945) is a politician in the United Kingdom. He has been Labour and Co-operative member of Parliament for Brighton Pavilion since 1997.
Lepper was the first Labour leader of Brighton Council, and Mayor in 1993-94.
In Parliament, Lepper has chaired the Broadcasting select committee.
Lepper supports the building of a new stadium for Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. in Falmer.
In the 2005 general election he survived a challenge by Keith Taylor, one of the principal speaker of the Green Party of England and Wales.
