History
The electoral district was created in 2004 86.8% from Dartmouth, and 13.2% from Sackville—Musquodoboit Valley—Eastern Shore. The riding experienced its first election on June 28, 2004. The incumbent from the majority of the districts was Wendy Lill of the New Democratic Party. Michael Savage of the Liberal Party won the election.
