Dalworthington Gardens is a city located in Tarrant County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 2,186.
The name is a conglomerate of parts of names of the anchor cities of the Metroplex. Dallas forms the "Dal", Fort Worth forms the "worth", and Arlington forms the "ington". Hence, "Dal"-"worth"-"ington".

The racial makeup of the city is 89.52% White, 6.08% African American, 0.50% Native American, 1.56% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.46% from other races, and 1.88% from two or more races. 3.80% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
