Cumrun Vafa

Cumrun Vafa is a leading string theorist from Harvard University where he started as a Harvard Junior Fellow. Among his many contributions, let us mention F-theory, his many articles on topological string theories, and his paper with Andy Strominger about the microscopic origin of the black hole entropy.
Dr Vafa is originally from Iran.
