Cumings is a census-designated place located in Fort Bend County, Texas. As of the 2000 census, the CDP had a total population of 683.
Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 8.0 km² (3.1 mi²). 7.8 km² (3.0 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 2.26% water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 683 people, 172 households, and 156 families residing in the CDP. The population density is 87.0/km² (225.6/mi²). There are 186 housing units at an average density of 23.7/km² (61.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP is 60.76% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.29% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 35.43% from other races, and 3.51% from two or more races. 91.65% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 172 households out of which 50.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 70.9% are married couples living together, 13.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 9.3% are non-families. 8.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 2.9% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
