Converting Vegetarians is a two-disc set album by the Israeli Psychedelic trance duo Infected Mushroom. The album was released by BNE/Yoyo Records in 2003 (see 2003 in music). The first disc consist of more or less Goa/Psy Trance, hence it's called Trance Side and the second disc is more experimental and eclectic featuring among others Synth pop and Gangsta rap influences.
Although widely successful in terms of sales and a strongly positive response from their fanbase, the album has also been criticized for its 'message' of disuading the hippy ideals on which the psytrance scene was founded in favour of a more practical, hedonistic way of life.
