Constantine is a village located in St. Joseph County, Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the village had a total population of 2,095. The village is located within Constantine Township.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 4.5 km² (1.7 mi²). 4.2 km² (1.6 mi²) of it is land and 0.3 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 5.81% water.
Demographics
As of the census2 of 2000, there are 2,095 people, 763 households, and 557 families residing in the village. The population density is 499.3/km² (1,291.9/mi²). There are 836 housing units at an average density of 199.2/km² (515.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 95.42% White, 0.62% African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.86% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.48% from other races, and 2.48% from two or more races. 1.43% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 763 households out of which 43.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.9% are married couples living together, 15.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.9% are non-families. 22.5% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.75 and the average family size is 3.12.
