Conservative Party (South Africa)
|
Template:Politics of South Africa The Conservative Party of South Africa was formed by white South Africans, mostly Afrikaners, who felt that the National Party was too ready to aquiesce to the demands of black South Africans for majority rule. It probably reached its peak of influence in the late 1980s as apartheid was winding down. It has recently joined forces with another party of similar views, the Freedom Front, to form the Freedom Front +.
