Conneaut Lake is a borough located in Crawford County, Pennsylvania at the southern end of a lake with the same name. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 708.

History
The town was founded in in 1799 as Evansburg, named for Abner Evans, a local farmer. It took the name of the neighboring lake in 1892.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²). 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
Demographics
As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there are 708 people, 331 households, and 187 families residing in the borough. The population density is 738.8/km² (1,927.9/mi²). There are 370 housing units at an average density of 386.1/km² (1,007.5/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 97.18% White, 0.14% African American, 0.14% Native American, 1.98% Asian, 0.14% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.42% from two or more races. 0.42% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 331 households out of which 22.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.7% are married couples living together, 11.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 43.5% are non-families. 35.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.14 and the average family size is 2.80.
In the borough the population is spread out with 20.3% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 27.3% from 25 to 44, 26.0% from 45 to 64, and 18.8% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 40 years. For every 100 females there are 87.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 83.1 males.
The median income for a household in the borough is $34,306, and the median income for a family is $42,375. Males have a median income of $35,000 versus $21,417 for females.
