Combat support hospital
|
A combat support hospital (CSH) is a United States military mobile hospital delivered to the battle area in large containers and assembled by the staff into a tent hospital with scores of beds to treat wounded soldiers. The CSH will also treat civilians or opposition soldiers wounded by U.S. military and those in life-or-death situations. Otherwise, injured must seek treatment in local hospitals.
The CSH is the successor to the "Mobile Army Surgical Hospital" or MASH.
